the joy of toy :: performances

Since the start of Isabel's project THE JOY OF TOY she has performed as a toy pianist at numerous international festivals and venues. She is intrigued by the fact that she can travel with her little instruments, take them with her to hotel rooms and also perform at venues not usually available for concert pianists. Isabel is very interested in exploring all sorts of performance situations. She of course loves legendary concert halls, but also enjoys performing at unusual venues and doing outdoor projects.

The balance of a programme is very important to Isabel Ettenauer. The selection of pieces for a recital is always influenced by many factors, as for example the venue and the occasion.
